[ARCHIVED] New Business Spotlights - Mr. Mustacheo

Mr. Mustacheo opened their doors at 1731 S Robert St, July 30th, 2025 and from day one owners Rene and Luis have felt right at home in West St. Paul’s welcoming and diverse community. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to bring people together through food that celebrates culture and creativity. With a vision of becoming a go-to gathering place for families, friends, and coworkers, Mr. Mustacheo is committed to serving up unique flavors with outstanding service. So what’s on the menu? Guests can expect bold and unforgettable flavors, starting with their signature Mexi- Wings and Tacos. Fan favorites include spicy Pineapple Habanero, authentic Pipian, and tangy Mango Tamarindo. Beyond wings and tacos, the menu features sushi-burritos, tortas, waffle fries, mexi-salads, churros, and refreshing agua frescas, all made with fresh ingredients and plenty of love. For Rene and Luis, food is personal. Both grew up working in family kitchens where meals were about more than eating. They were about love, connection, and tradition. Mr. Mustacheo is the realization of that shared dream, now proudly shared with the West St. Paul community. The restaurant is also making a difference beyond the plate. They’ve created opportunities for local youth, including students from Two Rivers High School, to work, learn, and grow. “This makes us feel like we’re making a positive impact,” they shared. “We feel most accomplished when a guest comes in and gives us positive feedback... knowing that we are on the right track and meeting the community’s expectations makes us feel great!”

This fall, residents can look forward to something special: a seasonal “Mexican Mole” Mexi- Wing flavor, available through early November in honor of Día de los Muertos. Follow Mr. Mustacheo on social media to stay up to date on specials and seasonal flavors.

Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, you can expect a warm welcome, fresh and flavorful food, and a fun, creative atmosphere.

“We’re your neighbors and we’re here to celebrate WSP. and with every plate we serve, we hope to exceed your expectations. Thank you for welcoming us...we look forward to growing together.”
