Meet the 2025 Good Neighbor Award Recipients!

We had the honor of recognizing neighbors who consistently go above and beyond to make West St. Paul feel like home. Their nominations say it best:

Chris — “The neighbor you want to have.” From lending tools and helping new homeowners learn the ropes to clearing trees, fixing problems, and even helping pump out a flooded basement, Chris’s generosity “embodies everything a good neighbor should be.”

Kevin — Called “a rare and invaluable asset,” as the founder and editor of the West St. Paul Reader, Kevin has "built a vital, community-centered platform that keeps residents informed and engaged with city council decisions, school board updates, neighborhood happenings, and much more." Plus, his Little Free Library? “The most well curated one in town.”

Donna — Known for her “sweet smiles and good spirit,” Donna pours her time and heart into decorating her building for every season and tending to indoor and outdoor plants—creating a warm, welcoming place for all.

Mary — Admired for going “above and beyond,” Mary helps keep community spaces beautifully decorated year-round. Her great attitude and dedication shine through every season.
