COMMERCIAL
New Construction
New construction includes construction projects for new structures and the redevelopment of land within the city limits. Commercial and multi-family properties are included.
Tenant Finish / Remodel
Tenant finish and remodel projects include the alteration or reconfiguration of existing commercial or multi-family residential structures. This type of project may occur within or outside of a structure, but does not include the construction of any new structures or the expansion of existing structures.
Tenant finish / remodel projects are often the result of a change in how an existing building space is being used, for example: to accommodate a new business or tenant.
Additions
Additions include construction projects for the expansion of existing structures or land development associated with existing structures for commercial or multi-family properties.
Repair / Replace
Repair/replace projects include replacing existing materials or utilities (plumbing, electrical, and mechanical) in commercial and residential properties. Required permits and approvals can vary for projects on the exterior of the property versus the interior of the property.
