On January 1st, 2020 the City of West St. Paul will implement a .5% Sales and Use Tax to fund the rebuilding and repair of essential transportation corridors and related ancillary roads within the City. This 0.5 percent sales tax applies to retail sales made into West St. Paul. The use tax applies to taxable items used in the City if the local sales tax was not paid.

The State is administering and collecting the local option sales tax on behalf of the City.
